Brazil funds new water supply projects in Manhuaçu and São Domingos

The Committee of the Manhuaçu River Basin approved a R$410,499.85 investment to develop the water supply system for the district of Ponte do Silva. The plan includes a dam on the São Luiz River, a modern water‑treatment plant with a capacity of 180 L/s, and about 10 km of new pipelines.

In São Domingos, Maranhão, a water‑distribution system was inaugurated after a federal parliamentary amendment secured by Deputy Hildo Rocha (MDB). The project serves the Centro Novo Consolação neighbourhood and the local taxi association, complementing other recent investments funded by the same parliamentary support.
