Brazil hosts initiatives to promote female leadership
Various educational initiatives in Brazil are focusing on the development of female leadership. At the Federal University of Uberlândia, Professor Clarice Santos from Middlesex University is scheduled to deliver a lecture titled “Demystifying Women in Leadership.” Santos, an expert in leadership and people management with international experience, will discuss her academic and professional background.
Simultaneously, a training school for Indigenous and Quilombola female leaders has launched its “Participatory Leadership and Social Transformation” course. The online program brings together 191 women from different regions of Brazil to strengthen leadership processes, promote dialogue, and defend territorial rights and democracy. The initiative is coordinated by Professor Marilúcia Lago and involves academic expertise from the Federal University of Goiás.
