Brazil hosts major tourism conferences in Florianópolis and Goiânia

The Sergipe Destination and Convention Bureau took part in the 10th UNECongress, held from July 27‑30 at the Costão do Santinho Resort in Florianópolis. Represented by its president Rafaela Mamede, the organization joined national tourism leaders and guests from Paraguay, Peru, Panama, Argentina and Colombia to discuss business tourism, digital transformation, sustainability and event attraction strategies for the state of Sergipe.

On August 25, the inaugural Turistrends congress convened about 250 executives, entrepreneurs, public officials and tourism specialists at the Centro Cultural Oscar Niemeyer in Goiânia. Organized by Turismo Compartilhado, the event focused on innovation, market intelligence, leadership and sustainable development, aiming to foster partnerships and drive growth in Brazil’s tourism sector.
