Brazil launches calls for fashion film and contemporary art exhibitions 2026

The Boqueirão Fashion 2026 event, Brazil's largest public fashion show, is now accepting free submissions for its Fashion Film Showcase. Students in fashion‑related courses can submit videos up to 90 seconds in MOV or MP4 format, without commercial branding, to be screened between runway shows from 27 to 31 July on the Rua da Cidadania runway.

The MITC 2026 (Mostra Internacional Totem das Cores) in Socorro, São Paulo, is also open for free entries until 28 May. Artists may submit up to two works created between 2024 and 2026 in a wide range of media, including painting, sculpture, textile art, photography and video art. The exhibition runs 5 September to 31 October, featuring a hybrid format with in‑person displays and a virtual platform for international artists. The theme is “Ciranda das cores, um sagrado abraço,” emphasizing cultural diversity and dialogue.
