Sebrae rolls out free entrepreneurship and innovation programs across Brazil
The Brazilian Service of Support for Micro and Small Enterprises (Sebrae) is sponsoring a series of free training and development initiatives in multiple cities.
In Atibaia, the municipality and Sebrae-SP will host the Empretec intensive seminar from 3‑7 August 2026, offering entrepreneurs a hands‑on curriculum on management, innovation and decision‑making. A similar Empretec course for micro and small firms opens for registration in Lucélia, with an online pre‑seminar on 5‑9 August and a residential immersion on 10‑14 August.
Curitiba will host the ConectaPR 2026 event on 24‑25 July, bringing together startups, investors and institutions for workshops, pitch sessions and networking focused on AI, internationalisation and social impact. The city also offers a free women's entrepreneurship course on 21 July, covering hiring, leadership and team building.
Capivari’s SebraeAqui program launches a “Vitrine Digital” scheme beginning 10 August to help local businesses improve their online presence through 14 hours of specialist coaching.
In the state of Bahia, students from Senhor do Bonfim created the “Mente Amiga” app under Sebrae’s Education Entrepreneurship programme, aiming to support neurodivergent learners with interactive educational tools.
Finally, Fecomércio MG, in partnership with Sebrae, announced the Impacta Varejo programme, a free corporate development series for retail entrepreneurs in Belo Horizonte on 22 July, covering financial intelligence, applied innovation and conscious management.
