Brazil launches multiple teacher training initiatives

The municipality of Pato Branco will host a two‑day pedagogical journey on 23‑24 July 2026, bringing together about 900 municipal educators for workshops on inclusive teaching and preparation for the second semester.

An online “Jornada Pedagógica da Companhia” will run 27‑30 April 2026, focusing on literary education. It offers free participation, certificates, and speakers such as Lilia Moritz Schwarcz and Milton Hatoum.

The Ensina Brasil programme opened applications on 21 July 2026 for its 2027 trainee cohort. Selected participants will teach in public schools for two years while receiving a salary of R$ 3‑7 thousand and continuous professional development.

Natal will host a national formation program in contemporary art and peripheral culture starting in August 2026.

Gildo Volpato was announced as the keynote speaker for the seventh edition of the “Educadores Transformadores” project.
