Brazil launches historic pavilion at Sial Paris 2026

Brazil has launched its largest-ever pavilion at the Sial Paris 2026 international food trade show. The delegation includes 156 companies organized across eight pavilions, supported by an estimated investment of R$ 28 million.

Coordinated by ApexBrasil in partnership with organizations such as Abiec (Brazilian Association of Meat Exporting Industries) and ABPA (Brazilian Animal Protein Association), the initiative aims to diversify international markets and strengthen Brazil's global presence. The expansion strategy comes as companies seek new destinations to mitigate the impact of trade tariffs and sanitary barriers.

In the beef sector, Abiec reported that 25 companies are participating with a R$ 7 million investment. Industry leaders noted that while European markets currently receive only 5% of Brazilian beef, the fair serves as a critical platform for diplomatic and commercial negotiations to resolve trade impasses and promote Brazilian products based on quality, sanitation, and sustainability. The event also provides opportunities to engage with major buyers, including those from China.
