Brazil launches InvestSUS 2.0 to integrate SUS resource management

The Brazilian National Health Fund (FNS) has launched InvestSUS 2.0, a new platform designed to integrate strategic data for managing Unified Health System (SUS) resources. The tool aims to support managers in states, municipalities, and the Federal District by providing a unified view of financial data, local execution, and planning instruments.

The platform integrates information from the Health Public Budget Information System (SIOPS), allowing managers to monitor available balances, amounts to be received, transfers made, and resource execution. It also tracks pending issues that require monitoring and the status of accountability instruments.

Adriano Massuda, Executive Secretary of the Ministry of Health, stated that the update changes how information is organized and made available, enabling more secure decision-making. The goal is to improve management so that health financing translates into better services and increased access for the population.
