Brasil Sorridente oral health SUS Ministry of Health dental training

The Brazilian Ministry of Health, in partnership with the Pan American Health Organization (PAHO/WHO), has opened registrations for the National Oral Health Showcase – Brasil Sorridente. This edition focuses on the incorporation of technology and equity within the Unified Health System (SUS). The initiative invites health professionals, managers, and students to submit research or reports on innovation, service organization, and meeting population needs.

In Ubatuba, the local oral health team underwent extensive training throughout September. These sessions included the II Integration and Humanization Meeting of the Oncology Care Network, covering dental care during various stages of cancer treatment. Additionally, professionals participated in training regarding dental assistance specifically for patients with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD).
