Brazil municipalities launch rabies vaccination and pet welfare campaigns
Various municipalities across Brazil are conducting extensive rabies vaccination campaigns for dogs and cats to prevent zoonotic transmission. Health authorities emphasize that while canine rabies is largely controlled, the virus continues to circulate in wild cycles, particularly among bats. Consequently, annual vaccination remains a critical public health measure for both animal and human safety.
