Brazil municipalities open cultural funding via PNAB
Various municipalities in Brazil are opening or extending registration periods for cultural projects funded by the Aldir Blanc National Culture Promotion Policy (PNAB) – Cycle 2 of 2026.
In Ubatuba, the Foundation of Art and Culture (FundArt) has extended the application deadline for three PNAB notices until September 23, 2026. These include the Cultura Viva Award for cultural points and hubs, scholarships for masters of traditional and popular cultures, and general cultural promotion for local projects.
In Nova Mutum, registration is open for projects with a total budget of R$ 293,000. The initiative aims to select 18 projects across eight categories, including sculpture, animation, music recording, and event production. Eligible applicants include individuals and legal entities with at least 24 months of experience in their respective fields.
