Brazil offers 240 free postgraduate slots in Acre and Paraná
The Federal Institute of Acre (IFAC) announced a selection process for 90 free lato sensu postgraduate places at its Rio Branco campus. The openings are split equally among three specialisations – Biodiversity, Business Logistics and Digital Technologies in Education – with applications open online from 7 July to 10 August. Selection will consider documents, a presentation letter and professional experience, and includes affirmative‑action quotas for black, indigenous, quilombola and disabled candidates.
The State University of Ponta Grossa (UEPG) opened enrolment for a free distance‑learning postgraduate specialisation in Early Childhood Education, providing 150 spots. The programme, coordinated by the Centre for Open and Distance Education, runs on the Moodle platform and requires a minimum of 10 hours per week. Candidates must hold a recognised teaching degree and be active educators. Applications are accepted online from 16 June to 15 July, with selections based on academic record and curriculum.
Both initiatives are funded through federal education programmes and aim to expand graduate training and inclusive access across Brazil.
