Brazil grants free ENEM registration and R$200 incentive to Pé‑de‑Meia students
Students participating in the federal Pé‑de‑Meia program who will finish high school in 2026 receive a waiver of the R$85 ENEM registration fee. Their applications are pre‑filled in the system, but they must log in to confirm details, choose the test city, select a foreign language option and request any needed accommodations. Those who attend both days of the exam and graduate will also receive a one‑time R$200 payment, to be disbursed in the first quarter of 2027 after verification of graduation. The ENEM 2026 exams are scheduled for 8 and 15 November across Brazil. Candidates without the exemption must pay the standard fee by the specified deadline. The measures aim to boost participation of low‑income students in Brazil’s primary university‑entry exam and improve access to higher‑education programs such as Sisu, Prouni and Fies.
