Brazil Open Taekwondo Championships sees multiple medal wins

The 30th Brazil Open Taekwondo Championships, held in Londrina, Paraná, featured approximately 1,500 athletes from over 30 countries. The event included competitions contributing to world and Olympic rankings.

Athletes from Marília achieved significant success, with three teams—Fernandes Taekwondo Maraca, C. I. T. T. E., and Sander Sport de Taekwondo—collecting a total of 19 medals. Fernandes Taekwondo Maraca led with 11 medals, including four golds. C. I. T. T. E. secured five medals, while Sander Sport de Taekwondo earned three.

Representing Pato Branco, Equipe Silva also saw strong results, with 11 athletes earning 14 medals. The team’s female youth division achieved a 100% success rate, winning four gold medals across their categories.
