The Brazilian Ministry of Tourism has opened a public tender to hire specialized legal entities to develop and market tourism products and experiences across the country. This initiative is part of a Technical Cooperation Project between the Ministry of Tourism and UNESCO.

The program focuses on strategic segments, including birdwatching, long-distance trails, and community-based tourism. The goal is to strengthen the structuring and positioning of Brazilian tourism to increase national competitiveness by leveraging natural and cultural heritage and local communities.

Interested companies must submit proposals through the UNESCO Brazil Procurement Portal by September 8, 2026.
