Brazil opens Yah Acqua Park in Piauí and announces Vila Galé resort in Pernambuco

The Yah Acqua Park was inaugurated on July 25 at the SESC Beira Mar Valdeci Cavalcante complex in Luís Correia, Piauí. The water park, a partnership between SESC and the Wrias Moura business group, expands leisure options for SESC members, their families and guests of the Hotel SESC Praia.

In Pernambuco, officials announced the upcoming opening of the Vila Galé Reserva do Paiva Lifestyle Resort, Convention, Spa & Beach Club, slated for October in the planned community of Paiva, Cabo de Santo Agostinho. The project, the 53rd operation of the Vila Galé hotel chain, follows a six‑year hiatus after the former Sheraton closed and involves more than half a billion reais in investment. Regional political leaders and Vila Galé executives attended the briefing, emphasizing the resort’s role in revitalising local tourism and the broader economy of the state’s southern coast.
