Brazil Pays July 2026 Bolsa Família Installments to Millions

The Caixa Econômica Federal began the July 2026 disbursement of the Bolsa Família cash‑transfer program, delivering payments to beneficiaries according to the final digit of their National Social Identification (NIS). Beneficiaries whose NIS ends in 7 received their funds on 28 July, while those with NIS ending in 8, 9 or 0 were scheduled for the final days of the month.

The average benefit this month is R$ 679.19, with a guaranteed minimum of R$ 600 per family. Additional allowances include R$ 150 per child up to six years old, R$ 50 for pregnant women or children aged 7‑18, and six separate R$ 50 payments for mothers of infants up to six months.

A unified early payment was made on 20 July for 175 municipalities in six states (Amazonas, Paraíba, Paraná, Rio Grande do Norte, Roraima and Sergipe) that were declared in emergency or calamity, regardless of NIS digit. The rule of protection continues to grant families that have improved their income only half of the benefit for up to one year (or up to two years for families that entered the rule before May 2025). Since 2024, the Seguro Defeso deduction has been removed following Law 14.601/2023.
