Brazil PIS/Pasep reimbursement payments scheduled for September

The Brazilian Ministry of Finance has established a schedule for PIS/Pasep reimbursement payments. For those who submitted their requests by August 31, 2026, the funds are scheduled to be deposited on September 25, 2026.

Reimbursements are calculated based on the period of employment and contribution salaries recorded during participation in the former PIS/Pasep funds. This benefit is intended for workers who still have available balances and have not yet withdrawn their quotas. Eligible individuals include private sector workers with formal employment records and public servants who held employment ties between 1971 and 1988. In the event of a holder's death, heirs may also file a request.

Inquiries regarding values and reimbursement requests can be conducted online via mobile devices or computers, eliminating the need for in-person service.
