Brazil provides free mammography and ultrasound screenings in Natal and Aparecida de Goiânia

The municipal health secretaries of Natal and Aparecida de Goiânia are offering free diagnostic screenings this week. In Natal, a mobile unit from Grupo Reviver will perform mammograms for women aged 40 and over at the Nova Aliança Health Center from June 22 to July 3. No medical referral is required; participants must present a photo ID, SUS card and proof of residence.

In Aparecida de Goiânia, a free ultrasound mutirão will be held on Friday, June 19, at the parking lot of the Maria da Cruz Gomes Santana maternity hospital. The service, which does not require prior appointment, includes obstetric 5D, abdominal, prostate, thyroid, breast and other scans. Attendees must bring a photo ID, SUS card and address proof, and follow specific preparation instructions for certain exams.
