Brazil real estate auctions scheduled for October

Major real estate auctions are scheduled for October in Brazil, involving hundreds of properties across various states.

Biasi Leilões, in partnership with Santander, will hold an online auction on October 6 featuring 209 properties across 20 Brazilian states. Starting bids begin at R$ 28,500. The bank will settle outstanding condominium fees and property taxes (IPTU) for the properties up to the auction date. Buyers can pay in full or utilize mortgage financing through Santander with a minimum 20% down payment.

Separately, Caixa Econômica Federal has announced an auction of 596 properties across 23 states. The event is scheduled to take place in two stages on October 14 and October 20. The properties include houses, apartments, land, commercial spaces, and rural properties, with initial values ranging from R$ 51,000 to R$ 8 million. Depending on the property and the auction stage, discounts of up to 67% off the appraised value may be available. Payment methods vary by lot, including cash, SBPE financing, or the use of FGTS funds.
