Brazil real estate consortium segment sees significant growth

The real estate consortium segment in Brazil has seen significant growth, gaining 870,000 participants over the last 12 months. According to data from the Brazilian Association of Consortium Administrators (ABAC), this sector has moved into second place in the consortium system, trailing only light vehicles.

Between July 2025 and July 2026, nearly two out of every three new participants joined real estate groups. While sales of real estate consortium quotas rose by 40.8% from January to July, the average ticket price decreased. ABAC attributes this trend to consumers opting for smaller credit amounts that better fit their budgets.

Research conducted by ABAC/Oki indicates specific consumer behaviors during the selection process: nearly half of respondents consulted only one company before closing a deal, and one in five made their decision on the same day.
