In Uberlândia, Minas Gerais, a hardware store on Avenida Vasconcelos Costa in the Martins neighborhood was ransacked in the early hours of Tuesday. Surveillance footage showed a car ram‑ming the metal storefront door, allowing three accomplices to enter, seize merchandise and flee within about ninety seconds. The shop had been the target of a similar attempt two days earlier, which failed when reinforced gates held. Police are investigating whether the same group carried out both attacks.
