Brazil sees 773 new jobs in Pernambuco and salary rise to R$5,512 for ages 46‑55

The Secretaria de Desenvolvimento Profissional e Empreendedorismo (Sedepe) released a list of 773 job openings across Pernambuco, with the highest concentration in Petrolina (100 rural worker positions) and significant numbers in Recife, Caruaru and other municipalities. Salaries for the posted positions range from roughly R$1,621 to R$4,000 per month.

A separate study by Senior Sistemas surveyed nearly one million Brazilian workers and found the highest average monthly earnings among those aged 46 to 55, at R$5,512. The overall average salary rose 8.3% year‑over‑year to R$4,704, while younger workers (up to 25) saw the strongest wage growth at 10.6% annually. The report also highlighted a gender pay gap, with women earning on average 16.8% less than men.
