Brazil sets ENEM 2026 fee‑exemption appeal deadline and announces automatic enrollment for public‑school seniors

The deadline to file appeals against denial of fee‑exemption requests for the 2026 National High School Exam (ENEM) ends today at 23:59 Brasília time. Applicants must submit their appeals through the ENEM Participant Page using their Gov.br login and provide documentation proving eligibility, such as proof of public‑school attendance or low‑income status. The Instituto Nacional de Estudos e Pesquisas Educacionais Anísio Teixeira (Inep) will release the appeal results on 25 May.

In addition, the Ministry of Education announced that ENEM 2026 will feature automatic registration for students in the third year of Brazil’s public‑school system, simplifying the enrollment process for this large cohort of candidates.
