Brazil sets June 5 deadline for Enem 2026 registration and fee‑exempt confirmations

The National High School Exam (Enem) 2026 will hold its two-day written tests on 8 and 15 November. Candidates must complete registration by Friday, 5 June. This deadline also applies to students who received a fee exemption or whose exemption was granted after a justified absence in the previous edition. Exemptions are available to individuals registered in the CadÚnico system, families with per‑capita income up to 1.5 minimum wages, and participants of the Ministry of Education’s Pé‑de‑Meia programme.

Public‑school graduates are automatically entered in the system but still have to confirm their data – choosing the municipality, foreign‑language option (English or Spanish), and any specialised assistance needs – by the same 5 June cut‑off. Candidates who do not qualify for exemption must pay the R$ 85 registration fee, with payment accepted until 10 June via boleto, Pix, or card.

The enrolment portal also enables name‑social treatment for transgender applicants and provides options for students with visual, auditory, intellectual, or other disabilities. All information is managed through the Enem Participant Page, which publishes detailed guidelines and timelines for the registration, fee payment, specialised‑assistance requests, and result releases.
