Brazil soybean prices rise above R$148 per sack

Brazilian soybean prices jumped above R$148 per 60‑kg sack in the weekend of 25‑27 July 2026, with the Santos and Paranaguá ports reporting the highest rates. The Cepea/Esalq indicator showed a 4.01% weekly gain, taking the price from R$142.65 on 20 July to R$148.37, an 11.07% increase for the month.

The rise is linked to strong external demand, especially from China, a weaker Brazilian real against the dollar, and limited spot‑market supply. Regional variations remain, with Paraná’s interior trading around R$140 and Mato Grosso’s interior prices near R$131. Producers are advised to watch market windows as the higher prices persist across major grain‑export hubs.

Milho and cattle prices also moved higher, but soybean led the commodity rally, reflecting tight global stocks and continued foreign buying interest.
