Brazil Starts New Viaduct Projects in Bebedouro and Cambé

The São Paulo state Department of Roads (DER‑SP) reports that the new viaduct on Rodovia Armando de Salles Oliveira (SP‑322) near Bebedouro will be completed in April 2027. Construction began in April 2025, with 55 % of the financing already spent. The project, part of the São Paulo Pra Toda Obra program, includes a pedestrian footbridge, drainage improvements and safety upgrades. Governor Tarcísio de Freitas and Secretary Natália Resende visited the site, while DER‑SP President Sérgio Codello highlighted its expected benefits for traffic flow and regional logistics.

In Paraná, the Department of Roads (DER/PR) says the Viaduto da Esperança in Cambé is slated to begin construction in October. The preparatory design phase, launched in May, will run through September, after which the executive project will be approved. The viaduct will feature two overpasses, marginal roads, drainage systems, retaining walls, full signage and safety devices. Mayor Conrado Scheller emphasized its importance for the BR‑369 corridor and Avenida Esperança, and the municipality is coordinating with utilities to minimise traffic disruptions.
