Brazil unveils Mandarin tourism investment guide in Shanghai

Brazil's Ministry of Tourism released a Mandarin-language edition of the "Guide to Tourism Investment in Brazil" during a launch event in Shanghai. The guide presents a portfolio of projects worth about US$ 4.5 billion, highlighting opportunities in hotel development, tourism infrastructure, parks, cruise operations and nature‑based experiences across the country.

The publication is part of the Brazil‑China Cultural Year 2026, marking 50 years of diplomatic relations, and aims to attract Chinese investors as China remains one of the world’s largest sources of outbound tourists. Among the featured projects is the Cabo Branco Tourist Hub in Paraíba, a large‑scale complex slated to host resorts, a water park, entertainment venues and commercial facilities.
