Brazilian agribusiness cooperatives receive major industry recognition

The Brazilian agribusiness sector is celebrating significant milestones in the cooperative movement. The 'Quem é Quem 2026' awards, organized by Gessulli Agrimídia, have reached their 10th anniversary. This edition features public voting across eight categories, including innovation, female leadership, and technical assistance in the poultry and swine sectors.

In related industry news, the cooperative Copacol has been recognized as the best in Brazilian agribusiness for 2025. The cooperative reported a revenue of R$ 11.1 billion and a profitability of 23.2%, distributing R$ 224.9 million to its members. Copacol attributes its success to strategic planning and technological investments, such as its new fingerling production unit, and plans to invest over R$ 1 billion by 2028.
