Brazilian artists undertake pilgrimages to Aparecida
Several Brazilian artists have gained attention for performing religious pilgrimages to the city of Aparecida, São Paulo, ahead of the Our Lady of Aparecida holiday on October 12.
Singer Daniel, 58, traveled approximately 300 km via bicycle along the 'Caminho da Fé' route, interacting with fans during his journey. Singer MC Gui is also in the final stages of a pilgrimage, aiming to reach the sanctuary on Monday, October 12, after traveling through areas near Taubaté.
Other notable celebrity pilgrimages include presenter Marcos Mion, who walked 110 km from Minas Gerais in December 2021 to fulfill a promise regarding his career move to Globo, and actress Klara Castanho, who traveled 130 km from Paraisópolis, Minas Gerais, in January 2023.
