Brazilian artists' pilgrimages to Aparecida

Overview

Brazilian artists have been undertaking religious pilgrimages to the National Sanctuary of Aparecida in São Paulo, particularly ahead of the Our Lady of Aparecida holiday on October 12.

Singer Daniel, 58, traveled approximately 300 kilometers via bicycle along the ‘Caminho da Fé’ route through Minas Gerais and São Paulo. During his journey, he interacted with fans and fellow pilgrims, occasionally playing guitar and singing. This follows a similar bicycle pilgrimage he completed in 2024.

Other artists have also been noted for such journeys, including singer MC Gui, who was in the final stages of a pilgrimage near Taubaté, as well as presenter Marcos Mion and actress Klara Castanho in previous years.
