Brazilian beverage companies expand ready-to-drink market
The Brazilian beverage market is seeing significant shifts toward convenience and ready-to-drink (RTD) products. In Curitiba, bartender Augusto Swaiger has launched Fidelio, a bottled cocktail featuring rosé wine, red fruits, and elderflower. The product aims to preserve the complexity of professional mixology in a scalable, bottled format.
Simultaneously, the Santa Catarina-based company Baly has successfully diversified its portfolio. Originally known for energy drinks, the company’s Gin Intencion brand has reached the top of the Brazilian gin sales market, accounting for 20% of units sold in a recent month according to Scanntech data. Baly achieved this leadership by introducing gin in a 473ml can, prioritizing convenience. The company projects a revenue of R$ 2.5 billion by 2026 through its expanding range of energy drinks, isotonic beverages, and wellness products.
