Brazilian candidates João Santos and Carla Morando rally regional support ahead of state elections

Avante pre‑candidate João Santos held a regional party meeting in Brumadinho, Minas Gerais, drawing approximately 3,000 attendees, including mayors, councilors and party leaders from more than 200 municipalities. He used the event to promote his bid for the Minas Gerais state legislature and outlined priorities such as reparations, expanded social policies, youth opportunities and regional development.

In Diadema, São Paulo, PSD deputy Carla Morando and former São Bernardo mayor Orlando Morando, supported by the city mayor Taka Yamauchi, addressed over 500 participants. Their rally focused on strengthening public security, attracting investment, creating jobs and improving public services across the Greater ABC region, emphasizing inter‑municipal cooperation.
