Brazilian candidates release government plans for Goiás and Paraná

Political candidates in Brazil have released their government plans for the states of Goiás and Paraná.

In Goiás, Wilder Morais presented the ‘Goiás para Quem Faz’ plan, which emphasizes decentralized management. The proposal includes creating ten regional coordination hubs to prevent decision-making from being concentrated in Goiânia. Key pillars include health, education, and social assistance under ‘Família Protegida’, infrastructure and sanitation via ‘Desenvolvimento que Fica’, and professional qualification through ‘Prosperidade que Chega em Casa’. Morais also proposed a health tracking system for patients and a scheduled maintenance approach for state highways.

In Paraná, Sérgio Moro filed his government plan, which includes a proposal to implement the Centro Pompidou Paraná in Foz do Iguaçu. This cultural project is already being advanced by the current administration of Governor Ratinho Jr. The state has already formalized technical and cultural cooperation contracts for the museum, with an expected investment of R$ 183 million and a projected inauguration in 2028.
