Mato Grosso launches R$72 million culture incentive program
The State Secretariat of Culture, Sport and Leisure in Mato Grosso announced a cultural incentive program worth over R$ 72 million, targeting more than 400 projects across the state from the second half of 2026 to 2027. Funding includes R$ 35.6 million from the state budget, R$ 21.8 million from the federal Aldir Blanc policy and R$ 15 million from the Regional Audiovisual Fund, covering historic preservation, creative business development, arts education and audiovisual production.
In Paraná, the municipality of Cambé released a R$ 460 thousand public call, "Cambé de Todas as Cenas", to support 28 cultural projects in areas such as itinerant cinema, youth workshops and performance art, with applications closing 20 July 2026.
Campinas' Cultural Investment Fund (FICC) opened a R$ 3.33 million call for roughly 90 projects, spanning music, theater, visual arts, heritage and more, with submissions accepted 1‑31 July 2026.
Maringá announced two initiatives: a R$ 2.67 million grant for 50 cultural projects in eleven artistic fields, and a separate offering of 401 free places in 24 courses at the Márcia Costa Cultural Action Center, prioritising public‑school students and people with disabilities. Applications for the courses close 30 June.
