Brazilian cities Camboriú and Bento Gonçalves begin infrastructure projects affecting traffic

The municipality of Camboriú announced that, starting Thursday July 9, 2026, construction will begin on Avenida Santo Amaro to install new storm‑water galleries for a new subdivision. The 15‑day project includes a temporary detour within the subdivision and urges drivers to use alternative routes to avoid congestion.

In Bento Gonçalves, water utility Corsan started work on July 13 to lay a sewage collection network on Rua Florianópolis in the Botafogo neighbourhood. The works are scheduled through July 30, operating Monday to Saturday from 07:00 to 18:30, and will also require traffic adjustments. Residents and motorists are asked to plan trips, follow posted signs and use alternate routes while the service improves sanitation and environmental conditions.
