Municipalities across Brazil are strengthening services for women facing domestic violence. In Lauro de Freitas, the CRAM Lélia Gonzalez centre provides psychological, legal and social assistance, while São Paulo’s free "SP Mulher Segura" app enables panic‑button alerts and online filing of police reports. João Pessoa’s Família Acolhedora program has opened new enrollment channels to place children and adolescents in temporary foster homes, and the city hosted a technical visit by the National Public Security Secretariat to showcase its Ednalva Bezerra Women’s Reference Center.

In the state of Acre, the Military Police deployed a specialist task‑force to Feijó after two femicides, pairing patrols with sociological studies of the area’s violence patterns. The Paraíba Civil Police arrested a 23‑year‑old man accused of planning a femicide against his ex‑partner, seizing firearms and a travel ticket to São Paulo. Mato Grosso’s Court of Accounts trained over 300 municipal officials on implementing violence‑against‑women action plans, and Tabaporã police confiscated a carbine and revolver from a domestic‑violence suspect.

Local patrols also received new resources: Ubá delivered a dedicated vehicle to its Women’s Protection Patrol, São Pedro da Aldeia reported serving 788 women under protective orders, and Maricá held its first permanent gender‑based violence forum to foster policy dialogue. Separate incidents in Jardim Alegre and Lunardelli prompted police interventions after threats and assaults against women.
