Brazilian cities Parintins and Itararé debut vocational training programs

The municipal government of Parintins, Amazonas, concluded a six‑month sewing course for 22 women at the Centro Municipal de Costura Dona Cota, aiming to boost household income. Participants reported acquiring new tailoring skills and confidence to generate earnings for their families.

In Itararé, São Paulo, Sebrae‑SP partnered with the local prefecture to offer a free stencil‑painting workshop for clothing customization. Trainees learned stencil techniques, color mixing and basic entrepreneurship, expressing plans to sell personalized garments and expand their income opportunities.
