Brazilian cities report mixed fuel and LPG price changes

In Pelotas, a Procon survey showed a reduction in fuel prices for June. Diesel fell by up to R$2.11 per litre compared with the sector’s peak, with average diesel S‑500 dropping from R$6.96 to R$6.78 and diesel S‑10 from R$7.09 to R$7.00. Gasoline prices were largely unchanged, while ethanol fell by R$0.26 per litre.

In Manaus, the municipal Procon released its June LPG‑cylinder price study. The 13‑kg bottle rose by 3.36% (R$4) to around R$123, while the 8‑kg bottle fell by 1.25% (R$1) to about R$79. The 7‑kg bottle increased by 4.05% (R$3) to R$77. The surveys aim to improve consumer awareness and budgeting amid fluctuating energy costs.
