Brazilian Cooperatives Announce Major Journalism Prize and 25‑Year Promotion Draw

The Goiás Cooperative Journalism Award, organized by the Sistema OCB/GO, will distribute more than R$120,000 in cash prizes, trophies and a zero‑kilometre electric scooter at its fifth edition ceremony in December. The competition, open to journalists in the state, features five categories (text, photo, audio, TV and cooperative media) and four thematic areas – health, credit, housing and general – with first‑place winners receiving R$4,000 and runners‑up R$1,500.

Sicoob Três Fronteiras, a credit union serving Foz do Iguaçu and surrounding areas, is holding the second draw of its “25 que Premia” promotion, marking the institution’s 25th anniversary. The campaign awards monthly prizes through December, including a BYD Dolphin Mini electric car, two Yamaha Nova Factor 150 motorcycles, four electric scooters, six iPhone 17s, six 65‑inch smart TVs and prepaid cards worth R$2,000 each. Participation is earned by using Sicoob services such as consortia, insurance, private pension, deposits, salary portability, account opening or referring new members.
