Brazilian credit cooperatives events

In late July 2026 Brazil’s credit cooperatives continued a series of public outreach initiatives. On July 25, Unicred Integração Fortaleza used the Expo Rondon 2026 to stress the importance of trust, democratic governance and regulatory oversight for cooperatives, while Cresol showcased a suite of financial products—including agribusiness loans, insurance and investment options—to strengthen ties with members and the broader community.

A week later, on July 31, cooperative groups shifted focus to community engagement through awards and promotions. The Goiás Cooperative Journalism Award announced cash prizes, trophies and an electric scooter for journalists, while Sicoob Três Fronteiras celebrated its 25‑year anniversary with a month‑long draw offering electric vehicles, smartphones and other prizes to members who used cooperative services. Together, the events illustrate a coordinated effort by Brazilian credit cooperatives to reinforce their public image, expand service awareness and reward member participation.
