Campo Grande unveils expanded audiovisual grant programs

Campo Grande has been incorporated for the first time into Brazil's Arranjos Regionais, a federal policy aimed at strengthening the audiovisual sector. The municipal Foundation of Culture (Fundac) launched three new editais that broaden access for filmmakers, producers, collectives and cultural institutions to public investment funds. The programs, financed through the Federal Ministry of Culture, Ancine and the Sectoral Fund for Audiovisual (FSA), will be managed locally by the Municipal Fund for Cultural Investments (FMIC). The three funding lines cover short‑film production, festivals, film clubs and audiovisual training. Applications are open from 23 July to 27 August 2026 and must be submitted via the Fundac website. The initiative seeks to distribute federal resources more evenly across regions, stimulate local production, and increase the visibility of Campo Grande’s audiovisual works in national and international circuits.
