Brazilian cultural agencies manage funding formalization and ProAC appeals

In Adamantina, the Municipal Secretariat of Culture and Tourism has summoned cultural agents approved under the National Aldir Blanc Policy (PNAB) to formalize their projects. Selected participants must provide proof of a new, dedicated bank account linked to their registration CPF by October 20. The signing of Cultural Execution Terms is scheduled for October 21.

In São Paulo, the state government addressed inquiries regarding the ProAC Edital nº 05/2026. The Secretariat of Culture, Economy, and Creative Industries clarified that the preliminary results are not final and are subject to pitching, legal qualification, and fiscal regularity. The response follows reports concerning three indie game developers, including Split Studio, who submitted projects under different CNPJs at similar addresses. The government noted that 15 administrative appeals have been filed, and proponents have until October 15 to present counter-arguments. Split Studio stated that their three projects belong to separate companies and comply with the edital rules.
