Brazilian Federal Police arrest three fugitives in Tocantins

The Brazilian Federal Police, supported by the Military Police of Tocantins, arrested three high-risk fugitives across different municipalities in the state of Tocantins.

In Natividade, authorities arrested a man wanted for theft who had violated the conditions of his sentence, resulting in a judicial order to regress his prison regime to closed custody. In Paraíso do Tocantins, a man investigated for involvement in drug trafficking was also apprehended and moved to a closed prison regime.

In Gurupi, police executed an arrest warrant for a man convicted of the rape of a vulnerable person. The individual had been sentenced to more than 14 years of imprisonment and was transferred to the prison system to serve his sentence.
