Brazilian gaming industry expands through international presence and corporate growth
The Brazilian gaming sector is seeing significant activity through industry expansion and corporate developments. Abragames, in partnership with ApexBrasil, is leading a delegation of 78 Brazilian studios to gamescom 2026 in Cologne, Germany. The initiative includes the debut of the Brazilian Indie Pavilion to showcase national games to a global audience and facilitate international business connections.
In the corporate sector, mobile game developer Wildlife Studios is undergoing internal growth and leadership changes. The company recently held its 38th Hackathon, an intensive three-day programming marathon designed to foster innovation and develop new game prototypes. Additionally, Wildlife Studios has re-hired Renata Cho as the Director of People, Brand & Communication and Workplace. Cho, who previously worked at Nubank, will oversee human resources, internal and external communications, and office infrastructure to strengthen organizational culture and talent retention.
