The AABB Campina Grande club in Paraíba inaugurated its new AABB Fit gym on 25 July 2026, marking the first phase of a broader modernization plan. The opening, attended by FENABB president Gustavo Boeira and club president Allan Ribeiro, introduced upgraded facilities and announced upcoming additions such as a Pilates studio, physiotherapy room, new games hall and beach‑tennis courts.

Separately, the Smart Fit chain is expanding its outlet in Shopping Itaguaçu, São José (Santa Catarina). The 2.5 thousand‑square‑metre gym will reopen in September with a “Black Zone” recovery area, a “Glute Zone” for targeted training, a café, and four outdoor sand courts for beach‑tennis and volleyball. Operations director Luciana Sukys highlighted the upgrade as part of Smart Fit’s strategy to broaden health‑and‑wellness services.

Both projects reflect a trend among Brazilian fitness operators to enhance member experiences through larger, multifunctional spaces.
