Brazilian institutes launch free technical and vocational courses
The Federal Institute of Southern Rio Grande (IFSul) in Camaquã opened applications for 11 free seats in a two‑year night‑time Technical Electrotechnics program, with registrations running from 21 to 26 July.
The Federal Institute of Espírito Santo (Ifes) announced 797 complimentary undergraduate positions across 16 campuses, covering fields such as agronomy, engineering, architecture and information systems. Applications are accepted from 20 July to 31 August 2026, with a written test on 27 September and enrollment slated for the first semester of 2027.
In Trindade, Goiás, the Instituto Elon Soares is offering 90 free qualification spots in construction‑civil trades: 45 for a Floor‑Tiling course and 45 for an Impermeabilization‑Application course. Classes begin on 17 August, run in the evenings, and registration is available online.
