Brazilian municipalities allocate over R$ 19 million for infrastructure projects

The city of Corupá in Santa Catarina confirmed the release of R$ 2.9 million for pavement and drainage works in several neighborhoods, funded by parliamentary amendments and state transfers. Projects include paving on Rua Jorge Pinter in the João Tozini district (R$ 800 k) and drainage improvements in the XV de Novembro area, as well as additional paving in the Ano Bom and Pedra D’Amolar districts.

In Paraná, mayor Rodolfo Mota of Apucarana presented a management balance and announced a new investment package of about R$ 16.5 million for the next six months. The bulk of the funds, more than R$ 9.5 million, will go to the Secretariat of Public Services for road resurfacing, new equipment and vehicle acquisition. R$ 2.5 million is earmarked for environmental actions in the Jaboti APA, while the Finance and Planning secretariat will receive electric patrol vehicles, computers, supercomputers and drones. Additional resources were allocated to culture, women’s and family services, and the mayor highlighted the city’s recent debt reduction and the completion of previously stalled projects.
