Brazilian municipalities launch cultural funding notices via PNAB

Municipalities in Brazil are implementing cultural incentive programs through the National Aldir Blanc Policy (PNAB).

The Cultural Foundation of Palmas (FCP) has updated the schedule for its 2026 National Culture Viva Policy notices. Proponents who passed the initial evaluation stage now have until October 1 to submit, complement, or replace qualification documentation. The preliminary results for the second stage are expected on October 6, with the final results scheduled for October 20.

In Tenório, the municipal government has launched a public notice for the Cultural Production Prize under PNAB Cycle 02. The initiative aims to reward 32 cultural projects across various segments, including music, dance, and visual arts, with a total allocation of R$ 22,840.00. Applications are open from September 28 to October 9, 2026, for residents and entities established in the municipality.
