João Pessoa Mayor launches educational game for students

Mayor Leo Bezerra has launched ‘Corrida Você Prefeito’, an educational game designed for students in the João Pessoa municipal school system. Developed through a partnership between the Secretariats of Popular Participation, Education and Culture, and Science and Technology, the initiative uses technology and play to teach students about citizenship, public management, and how the city functions.

The project aims to encourage students to identify community needs and propose solutions, fostering a sense of belonging and active participation in local governance. The launch took place at the Maria Madalena Guedes Pereira Municipal School in the Varjão neighborhood.
